Regular Meeting February 10, 2016

The meeting was called to order at 7:30PM. Present were Mayor Mahoney, Trustee VanDervoort, Carson, Matson and Fairclough. Also present were Clerk Koblensky, Treasurer Ryan VanDervoort, Deputy Treasurer Michelle Albin, Craig Falcone, Chief Don Baldwin and Barry Walsh.
Trustee VanDervoort moved to waive the minutes of the previous meetings. Trustee Carson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

Regular Meeting January 13, 2016

The meeting was called to order at 7:30PM. The Mayor asked a moment of silence
for Abraham Caruso longtime firemen and town councilman, James Glavin longtime town attorney and water commissioner attorney. Present were Mayor Mahoney, Trustee VanDervoort, Matson and Carson. Trustee Fairclough was absent. Clerk Koblensky, Attorney Varley, Treasurer Ryan VanDervoort, Craig Falcone, Asst. Chief Matt Ball, Asst. Chief Matthew Roy, Barry Walsh and Bob Mielenz .

December 30, 2015 Special Meeting

Special Meeting December 30, 2015
The meeting was called to order at 10:20AM. Present were Mayor Mahoney, Trustee Carson, Fairclough, Matson and Deputy Clerk Michelle Albin. Trustee VanDervoort was absent.
Trustee Matson offered resolution# authorizing emergence demolition of 31-33Broad Street due to the fire. Trustee Carson offered the second. All Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted yes.
As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:35.

     The meeting was called to order at 7:30PM. Ian Byrnes, Star Scout led us in the pledge of Allegiance.  Present were Mayor Mahoney, Trustee Fairclough, VanDervoort Matson and Carson. Clerk Koblensky, Treasurer Ryan VanDervoort, Deputy Treasurer Michele Albin and Attorney Varley were present. Also present were Chief Don Baldwin, Craig Falcone, Ed Huneau, Barry Walsh, Michael and Ian Byrnes. Trustee VanDervoort moved to waive the minutes of the previous meeting. Trustee Carson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

Water Emergency for Village & Town of Waterford

1/18/16 Towns of Waterford and Halfmoon Declare State of Emergency due to Troy Water Main Break

The town of Waterford and the town of Halfmoon have both declared a state of emergency in connection to the water main break in Troy. People within the two communities are advised to conserve water while repairs are being made. It is unknown when the repairs will be completed. Town Officials are working with the Saratoga County Office of Emergency Services to secure additional water resources in the event that Troy is unable to supply water as needed.

NY Rising Reconstruction Plan for Village of Waterford Progress Report

Progress on NY Rising Reconstruction Plan for the Village of Waterford.
Wetland Drainage system improvements ( Upper Third Street and Fourth Street )
A Study of drainage conditions at the northeast section of the village has been completed and the village is following through with a recommendation to install a backflow preventer at the stormwater outlet to the Hudson River. This will prevent the river from backing up into the stormwater system during high water events such as Hurricane Irene.
In addition to the study of drainage conditions 16 homes in this area received elevation certificates

Treasurer Ryan VanDervoort, Craig Falcone and Clerk Koblensky, Deputy Treasurer Michelle Albin, Barry Walsh, Ed Huneau and Dave Meager from Adirondack Trust were also present.

The meeting was called to order at 7:30PM. Mayor Mahoney, Trustee Vandervoort, Matson, Carson and Fairclough were present. Also present were Treasurer VanDervoort, Clerk Koblensky, and Attorney Varley. Also attending were Craig Falcone, Chief Don Baldwin and Barry Walsh. The Mayor asked for a moment of silence for Jackie O’Brien long time member of the fire dept.
