Organizational Meeting April 2, 2014

The meeting was called to order at 7:00PM. Present were Mayor Mahoney, Trustee
VanDervoort ,Carson, Matson, Fairclough, Craig Falcone, Clerk Koblensky, Treasurer
Ryan VanDervoort, and Deputy Treasurer Lisa Ricci. Special guest Riley VanDervoort who, led the Board in the pledge.

First order of business, Mayor Mahoney requested the appointment of Robin Koblensky
as Village Clerk. All Trustees voted yes and she was sworn in by the Mayor Mahoney. Mrs. Koblensky then swore in the Mayor and all Trustees.

Special Meeting March 19, 2014

The purpose of this meeting is to accept the tally of votes cast at the Village of Waterford Election held on March 18, 2014. Mayor Mahoney and Trustee VanDervoort, Fairclough and Trustee Carson were present.

All of the incumbents, running unopposed, were reelected. Total votes received were tallied as follows: Mayor Mahoney 58; Trustee VanDervoort 58;Trustee Carson 54; Trustee Matson 57; Trustee Fairclough 57; There were 5 write-in votes for Mayor. There were 3 write-in votes for Trustees.

Village Board Meeting

The Village Board will be holding its monthly meeting on September 10 at 7:30 PM

Village Residents-Lawn & Leaf Bag Pickup

The Village will pickup up lawn and leaf bags placed curbside on the following days only:

Saturday, July 12th

Saturday, August 16th

Saturday, September 20th

Please make sure that your bags are placed curbside ONLY on the NIGHT BEFORE the dates of the pickup service.

The Town Highway garage is open Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm and accepts additional lawn & leaf bags/brush

for any Village & Town resident during these hours.

126th street DOT work

TRUCK DETOUR BEGINS FOR PAINTING OF 126TH STREET BRIDGE CONNECTING NORTH TROY AND WATERFORD
 
Motorists are advised that a truck detour will be in place beginning Monday, April 14, to allow for maintenance painting of the 126th Street Bridge carrying Route 4 over the Hudson River between North Troy/Lansingburgh and Waterford.
 
The truck detour will not apply to vehicles less than 9 feet, 6 inches wide and shorter than 12 feet in height. This includes all school buses.
 
Truckers can use the 112th Street Bridge, which carries Route 470 over the Hudson River, as an alternate route.
